Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected recently by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. There are so many organizations out there helping those who are displaced that it can be hard to choose. Here is a list of places to consider when you donate. Bob Springli submitted the winning picture for our Dog Days of Summer Photo Contest of his puppy Lucie taking his much larger dog Lexie for a walk. He has graciously decided to donate his gift certificate to a local shelter, and we chose Humane Rescue Alliance since they recently took in animals affected by Hurricane Harvey. We appreciate his generosity that will aid these displaced pets.
