DC Comes Together in January

One thing we know from living and working in DC: Washingtonians are an active, vocal, adventurous group of people.  From active protests and marches, to trying new restaurants and menus, many people who live and work in DC come together to support the city-wide initiatives and events. i Ricchi is excited to participate in several DC-area events this month, and we hope you can join us!

Saturday, January 20 we are providing a gathering place for those involved in the Women’s March on the Polls 2018. We will open early at 3 pm for you to have a respite from the cold as we serve warm drinks and your favorite comfort foods. We will also offer communal seating options to facilitate the exchange of ideas and meeting new people.

Restaurant Week is always a great way to try new dishes for special prices at your favorite restaurants or to visit restaurants that you were always curious about. We participate every year and were the driving force behind its inception more than 15 years ago when a small group of concerned restaurateurs got together to address the crisis after 9/11. Plan to dine with us for $22 3-course lunches and $35 3-course dinners, Monday-Saturday, January 22-27.

We’re looking forward to an insightful and inspirational 3-course Need to Know Dinner with Tim Shriver, nephew of President John F. Kennedy and Chairman of Special Olympics International, when he will talk about The Revolution Is Inclusion, Monday, January 29 at 7 pm. Tim has spent his life promoting the marginalized to create a better society. Hear from him for insight into what matters most in life and how to embrace your own new vision.
